Drug testing: Extra opening hours during ADE
During Amsterdam Dance Event, the local health services of Amsterdam, Jellinek and GGD, offer next to the regular drug checking facilities at Jacob Obrechtstraat and Valckenierstraat, the possibility to get a pill quick-test at the Keizergracht 572.
A pill quick-test means, that a small amount off your pill is scraped of to do a colour test. You get the rest of your pill back. Next the pill is measured and then compared to the list of pills that have been tested in the lab. If your pill is on the list, you immediately get the results. If your pill is not on the list, at the Keizersgracht there is no possibility to send it to the laboratory. At the regular locations at Valckenierstraat and Jacob Obrechtstraat, the quick test as well as a lab test are offered. It takes at least 1 week to get the results from a lab test.
