Can I participate in traffic after the use of nitrous oxide?

Nitrous oxide has an almost immediate effect on your orientation and coordination. As a result, you are temporarily less able to focus. Twenty to thirty seconds after inhalation, a drop in consciousness occurs that resembles drunkenness. You are less able to participate in traffic. Nitrous oxide behind the wheel is therefore a real ‘no-go’! To avoid harm to yourself and others, make sure you are sober for at least an hour before driving!
